LamRight
LLC
supplies ergonomically designed,
purpose-built tools to support prepreg laminating in all composites
fabricating industries. Whatever you call them—lay-up aids, push
sticks, sweeps, pushers, squeegees, laminating aids—these tools
serve a vital role in the laminating stage of composites
fabrication.
LamRight tools were developed by a designer with prepreg laminating
experience in the aerospace, defense, motorsport, and sporting goods
sectors of the composites industry. Having worked all day with
insufficient, uncomfortable tools, the designer recognized that
better laminating tools would make functionality, ergonomics, and
comfort all have equal priorities. Better design and development
means better laminating tools, and now, LamRight LLC wants to offer
these tools to you.
Built from aerospace spec’d materials:
These tools are built from material as required by major aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s)
for tools that contact prepreg materials used in
aircraft builds. This approved plastic material is rather inert and will
therefore not react to any of the resin systems used in prepreg
reinforcements. Its low-friction coefficient allows the tools to
slide effortlessly over even the tackiest of resin systems, and,
its high abrasion resistance ensures the longevity of each tool.
Tools made from this high performance plastic material are also impervious to all solvents approved
for use in a
controlled contaminate area (CCA) or bond room, and therefore,
clean up easily at the end of the work day. And, although these
tools are designed to aid in prepreg fabrication, they also work
well with wet lay-up,
dry reinforcements and low-resin-content prepregs, as used with RTM
and VARTM processes, conformal rubber bladder or vacuum bag
manufacturing, as well as ballistic grade Aramid and thermoplastic
PE reinforcements.
In the hands of highly skilled
laminating or fabricating technicians, these ergonomically designed,
purpose-built tools will help save time in the CCA or bond room,
while helping to build better quality laminates. This in turn
will save even more time post-processing by greatly minimizing
secondary rework. Let us assist you to make better
quality composite parts while helping
your company down the path on
its lean journey. |
